摘要: This report makes a systematic study of flooding in vertical tubes, and gives a clear definition of two types of flooding; investigates and analyzes the influence factors on flooding, especially the influence of tube ends. It puts forward the flooding correlations in sharp-edged tubes as well as in tapered end tubes, and points out the ways to raise the flooding velocities. All the above theories and correlations are tested and verified by the experimental results.
