MEASUREMENT AND CORRELATION OF MODERATE PRESSURE VAPOR-LIQUID EQUILIBRIUM DATA FOR METHANOL-WATER BINARY SYSTEM

摘要: 用加压静态平衡釜测定了甲醇-水二元体系在353.15、373.15、388.15和403.15K下的汽液平衡数据。除373.15K外,其他3个温度点的数据未见文献报道,实验数据用含第二维里系数的截尾维里方程和5个活度系数方程关联。结果表明,所选计算模型均能很好地拟合实验数据,尤以维里方程加上Margules方程拟合精度最高。

Abstract: Vapor - liquid equilibrium data for the binary system methanol - water at four temperatures between 353. 15 and 403. 15 K,and pressure between 64 and 815 kPa were measured by using a static apparatus. The equilibrium data were correlated with Margules, NRTL, Van Laar, Wilson and UNIQUAC liquid activity coefficient models by using the Powell parameter estimation method for nonideal vapor phase behavoir. The best fits for the system were obtained in the same order in which the models are mentioned above, the deviations being not significantly different from one model to the other.
