Abstract: A model of falling film evaporation of binary mixture on the inside wall of a vertical tube and corresponding numerical Solution are presented.Heat and mass transfer are closely conjugated in this model.The effects of mass transfer on heat transfer are taken into account.It is found that mass transfer significantly affects heat transfer.Neglecting the effects of mass transfer in heat transfer will bring great error for predicting heat transfer coefficient.
