摘要： 生物质是未来替代石油与煤炭的一类重要资源.以其为原材料可以建立起类似于石油化工及煤炭化工的新型化学工业——生物质化工.本文论述了发展生物质化工的必要性、可行性及具体的研究规划，并对该领域的研究进展进行综述与展望.
Abstract: Biomass is a kind of alternative feedstock to fossil fuel resources,such as oil and coal.A new kind of biomass-chemical industry will come into being,similar to modern chemical industries based on oil and coal.This paper gives a review on the development of biomass-based chemical industry, and also discusses the problems and how to solve them in the future.
