The content of lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry（ICP-MS） in 13 samples of printed paper as food packaging materials and in 3 corresponding non-printed paper samples, which were collected from domestic suppliers, and are 2.045—5880.261 μg·L^-1, 0.124—5.945 μg·L^-1, 2.464—1430.863 μg·L^-1 and 0.170—11.378
