Abstract:

Aiming at the disadvantages of carbon series materials，and referring to electromagnetic shielding mechanism，this paper introduces the research progress of carbon-filled electromagnetic shielding composites，such as carbon black，graphite，carbon fibers and carbon nanotubes. Because carbon series materials are nonmagnetic，great progress has been made in applications of surface coating nanolayer and magnetron sputtering ion plating process to overcome this disadvantage. New carbon-filled materials，such as graphene，buckypaper are also reviewed. The development of carbon-filled electromagnetic shielding polymer composites，such as general-purpose，broad band，random，and high absorption is discussed.
