Measurement and calculation of vapor-liquid equilibrium for dimethyl ether-methanol-water ternary system

Abstract: The isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium data for dimethyl ether-methanol-water ternary system were measured at 333.15 K,353.15 K,373.15 K and 393.15 K in a self-sucking type agitated static equilibrium cell.The effect of pressure and temperature on vapor-liquid equilibrium of dimethyl ether-methanol-water ternary system was analysed, the contents of dimethyl ether in vapor phase and liquid phase increased with increasing pressure, but decreased with increasing temperature.Thermodynamic calculation of vapor-liquid equilibrium data of dimethyl ether-methanol-water ternary system was carried out by using the method based on equation of state-activity coefficient,with PR equation for fugacity coefficients of vapor phase and NRTL equation for activity coefficients of liquid phase, and the calculated data were in agreement with the experiment data.

摘要: 利用自吸式搅拌静态平衡釜,测定了333.15、353.15、373.15、393.15 K下二甲醚-甲醇-水三元体系的等温汽液平衡数据.二甲醚在气液相中的含量随压力的提高而增大,随温度的升高而减小.采用状态方程-活度因子法,由PR方程计算气相各组分的逸度因子, NRTL方程计算液相活度因子,进行了二甲醚-甲醇-水三元体系汽液平衡数据的热力学计算.模型计算值与实验值吻合良好.
