Abstract: The new method named as LEACHEX process which combines leaching of minearl and extraction of metalfrom leaching liquor is used to proccss scheelite concentrate.Elimination of solid film consisting of tungstic acidand the controlling step of chemical reaction are illustrated and an empirical kinetic equation is proposed basedon unreacted-shrinking-core model.90 percent decomposition of scheelite can be attained in 1800 seconds.
