用光散射技术测量单个气溶胶微滴

Abstract: A single microdroplet was suspended in an electrodynamic balance and adjusted in a polarized laser beam. The scattered light from the micro-droplet was detected by a photodiode array and stored in a microcomputer. In addition, the optical resonance spectra were continuously recorded by a PMT at 0 = 90°. Comparing the light-scattering profile (intensity versus scattering angle) and the resonance spectra with Mie theory, the size of the micro-droplet and the change of its size as a sphere can be determined precisely.

摘要: 作者在改进的电动平衡仪中悬浮单个气溶胶微滴,并使它受到1束激光照射.平衡仪上的1组光电列阵检测某一散射角范围内的散射光强度,另一个位于90°散射角处的光电倍增管连续测量共振光谱讯号.把所测得的实验数据与Mie理论计算值对照,就能非常精确地测定微滴的尺寸及其变化.
