Abstract: Preliminary studies of the backmixing coefficients of the continuous phase in a liquid-liquid Kuhni extraction column using a steady state tracer injection technique and backflow model have been carried out for the system of MIBK-deionized water in two-phase countercurrent operation. The experimental data indicated that the backmixing coefficients oi the continuous phase increased with the impeller speeds under normal conditions of agitation. An increase in the flow rates of the continuous and dispersed phases caused remarkable and slight reduction in the extent of backmixing respectively. An empirical correlation for backmixing coefficients αc was developed.

摘要: 在直径72.45mm的K(?)hni萃取柱中,以甲基异丁基酮/H_2O为实验体系,用返流模型和稳态示踪技术,研究了连续相的返混.结果表明,随着涡轮转速增大,返混系数呈线性增大;在较低的转速下,分散相流速对返混影响不明显,随着流速增大,返混稍有减小;而随着连续相流速增大,返混明显减小.本文给出了连续相返混系数的经验关联式.
