PREDICTION OF TERNARY LIQUID-LIQUID EQUILIBRIABY MEASURING THE ACTIVITY COEFFICIENTS WITH GASCHROMATOGRAPHIC HEADSPACE ANALYSIS

Abstract: The predictions of ternary liquid -liquid - alkanol equilibria of 10 water - alkane -alkanol systems were made from the activity coefficients of three components in miscible regions measured with Gas Chromatographic Headspace Analysis method. The UNIQUAC parameters were fitted to the measured activity coefficients and then used to predict ternary liquid - liquid equilibria. The mean square root errors were compared with those in literature and the results were quite be satisfactory. For the liquid -liquid equilibrium data of the cy-clohexane - 1-butanol -water system which was measured in this work the results of prediction are also good.

摘要: 用气相色谱顶空分析法测定了9组水-正烷烃-醇部分互溶三元系在完全互溶区3个组分的活度系数.由活度系数实测值拟合出UNIQUAC过量自由焓模型参数.再用UNIQUAC方程对部分互溶区液液平衡进行了预测.其结果与文献预测比较,均方根误差均较后者(在2.5%以下)小.同时实测了环已烷—正丁醇—水三元系的液液平衡数据,结果亦令人满意.
