Abstract: The microscopic observation of directional crystallization of transparent organic melt of mixed dichlorobenzene (DCB) is made to study the interface morphology of growing crystal, the pattern of crystal growth and the cause of impurity inclusion. The results of microscopic observation will provide great benefit to the theoretical and numerical studies of related directional crystallization process.
