A LEVEL SET APPROACH FOR SIMULATION OF BUBBLE MOTION

  

Abstract: A level set approach for computing incompressible two-phase flow is presented with the SIMPLE algorithm incorporated. The motion of gas bubbles in liquid with large density ratio, viscosity ratio and surface tension is numerically simulated and it is found that the computational results are in good agreement with experiments.
