Abstract: In China, a number of horizontal grate-fired boilers have been used in industry and black soot and fly ash are emitted out of the furnace. A smoke prevention and dust control device suited for horizontal grate-fired boilers is invented so as to solve these two problems. The technical feature of the device is presented and aerodynamic field in the furnace is simulated. It shows many advantages,such as simple structure, easy arrangement, effective inhibition of soot formation and realizing dust-removal in furnace.
