Abstract: Metal detergent is the main additive for internal-combustion engine lubricating oil. The present review summarizes the research progress in lubricating oil detergent metalation process and introduces some typical metalation techniques with a introduction of the types and applications of metalation promoter. The development in reaction mechanism study for metalation process is discussed，and the trend in the study of lubricating oil detergent metalation process is suggested.

摘要： 润滑油金属清净剂是内燃机油不可缺少的一类主要添加剂。本文综述了润滑油金属清净剂制备过程中金属化工艺的研究进展及典型的金属化工艺过程，介绍了清净剂金属化过程中所使用的促进剂的种类及应用情况，论述了清净剂金属化反应机理的研究现状及进展，指出了润滑油清净剂金属化工艺今后的研究方向。
