Abstract:

Principles for enhanced biological phosphorus removal and metabolism mechanism of polyphosphate accumulating organisms（PAOs）& glycogen accumulating organisms（GAOs）are introduced in this paper. The effects of different carbon sources on competitions between GAOs and PAOs are discussed，and changes of phosphate removal efficiency and the microbial community are analyzed based on the recent researches. Furthermore，some measures are put forward to resolve the problem of  PAOs-GAOs competition.

介绍了生物强化除磷原理以及聚磷菌（PAOs）和聚糖菌（GAOs）的代谢机理，阐述了不同碳源对GAOs与PAOs的影响，不同碳源下的除磷效果和微生物群落结构变化，提出了抑制生物强化除磷系统中GAOs竞争的措施。
