Abstract: In this paper the effect of magnetron sputtering with DLC (diamond like carbon), DLC-F and AC on CaSO 4 scale formation was investigated. Fouling run were carried out under flow boiling conditions. The results showed that surface sputtering with DLC et. reduces CaSO 4 scale formation significantly.
